A symbol of love and beauty, the rose is also an excellent natural digestive (though not many know that). Aromatic and gentle, a brew with rose petals improves metabolism and promotes relaxation.

HOW TO USE

For a hot brew: Add 1 teaspoon per cup (150ml). Always pour hot water (80°C) on the flowers and not the other way around. Steep for 2-3 minutes. For a cocktail: Infuse (1 tsp per cup (240ml) of alcohol) in any clear alcohol - gin/vodka/ white rum/ tequila for half an hour.

 By improving digestion, this caffeine-free brew helps ease the guilt of binge eating. Sourced from Kashmir, these rose buds when infused in water produce a lovely pale pink brew. The buds can also be used in desserts and to make pure rose water for beauty treatments.
