Today, we commemorate this extraordinary path that witnessed a series of innovative and persistent steps of Vanity Wagon which played a pivotal role in the rise of clean beauty.

Inception and Founders’ Vision

The founding duo of Naina and Prateek Ruhail have established Vanity Wagon as the manifestation of their enduring dedication to the ethos of clean beauty. Naina, with her passion for skincare and makeup, and Prateek, with his sharp business-focussed intellect, united to create a clean beauty ecosystem that responds to a profound need: safe, natural, and ethical beauty alternatives. Their dream came to fruition in the form of Vanity Wagon.

Launch and Soaring Success

Vanity Wagon was launched in September 2018 and then with sheer hard work and dedication, the seeds of perseverance began to reap as it sailed in December 2020 and the founder's mission was rewarded with appraise The seed round that December 2020 was led by Agility Ventures and attracted $250k was a milestone and the beginning of a new journey. Followed by the funding rounds of October 2021 and October 2022, Venture Catalysts and Inflection Point Ventures contributed $1 million, and the proceeds of Lotus Herbals and Agility Venture Partners were $2 million. Vanity Wagon’s Mobile App saw its first light in March 2022. Subsequently, the launch of kiosks at Select Citywalk Mall and Pacific Mall in Delhi and Nexus Elante Mall in Chandigarh have marked the expansion into the offline market as well.

The introduction of The Vanity Wagon, although small initially, occurred in the presence of an expanding culture of conscious consumers. The number of products started from a few but quickly expanded to over 300 premium brands including. The successful venture not only kindled but also magnified the impact to change the face of beauty and wellness industry.
